Adoption Process

We have several donkey’s available for adoption. Once approved, we will then make an appointment to meet the donkeys. If you are out of state, we can then discuss donkeys available that would make a good match for each adopters animals and family.

These are the steps that you should follow to begin a relationship with your special new donkey. Please refer to the contract to review requirements.

1 To adopt please fill out necessary paperwork included in the forms below.

2 Approval Process

We will review your application and contact you for approval.

3 Meet the Donkeys

Schedule an appointment to meet your potential companion (or discuss options for out-of-state adopters).

4 Finalize Adoption

Submit the adoption fee and necessary documents, including photos of your farm and living area.

Our adoption fee starting at $550.

The fee could also be adjusted upward depending on the training to ride/and or drive that animal has had while here.

The adoption fee covers all vaccines, farrier work, current coggins, registration fee and castration.

After electronic form completion you can submit the adoptive fee that was agreed upon during your initial conversation with Turning Pointe Donkey Rescue.

Fees should be made payable to Turning Pointe Donkey Rescue – money orders or personal checks are also accepted.
