What Information We Collect and How We Use That Information:

If you register for an event, to donate, adopt or sponsor, personal information is collected. This information may include some or all the following: your name, e-mail address, physical address, phone number, gender and age. If your information needs to be changed, you can contact us using the information above. Turning Pointe Donkey Rescue does not sell or trade personal information (including email addresses) we collect. However, as described below, we do share some personal information with our advisors to help us improve our services.

We maintain your personal information only until the later of

  • the time needed to provide the information, product or service for which you provided it
  • the time needed to comply with applicable law (such as tax and donation reporting).

We are located in Michigan, United States of America, all data we collected is provided to us within the U.S. and remains within the U.S. for the duration of our maintaining the information.

Text Messaging Opt-In Data

 If you choose to opt-in to receive text messages from us, we may collect your phone number and related data required for text messaging services.  Text messaging opt-in data, consent and related collected personal information will not be shared with or sold to any third parties, unless required by law. You can opt-out at any time by texting ‘STOP’.

Internet Protocol (IP) Address:

We collect an IP address from all visitors to our website. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our Website, analyze trends, track users’ movement and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use to improve the Website. IP  addresses are sometimes considered personally information and we keep them private and secure like other personal information we maintain.

Use of “Cookies” and Responses to Do Not Track Signals:

and we will delete your personal information, unless we are required to maintain a copy for legal reasons.
